QuickBOLT debuts roof penetration repair kit QuickPATCH

QuickBOLTa provider of solar mounting and roofing solutions, launches QuickPATCH, a patent-pending product designed to address one of the most persistent challenges in the solar and roofing industry: gaps in the roof caused by missing roof trusses, safety anchors, weather, age or other system installations.

The QuickPATCH is a 4 by 5 inch. galvanized steel patch supported by butyl adhesive and featuring a butyl-coated top edge for resealing the gravel layer after installation.

QuickPATCH aims to reduce the labor required to seal unintended roof penetrations and is applied using a method called ‘Peel, Place and Press’.

“QuickPATCH™ is in response to feedback we received from solar installers and other professionals who needed a fast, reliable and consistent way to seal roof holes and repair roof damage,” said Rick Gentry, VP of new product development for QuickBOLT. “The product was developed and tested in-house at QuickBOLT and we are proud of the convenience, speed and durability it offers.”
